For business meetings, we offer two convenient meeting rooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The half or whole-day seminar rates include writing materials, mineral water in the room, as well as a coffee break in the morning and a three-course lunch. If participants are travelling by car, they may use our underground car park for free.

Of course, you can also book hotel rooms quickly and directly on our website. Here you will also get the guaranteed lowest room rate. If you have a question, we are always happy to help.

Change / Cancellation

Have you booked directly with us via e-mail hotel-baslertor@balehotels.ch or phone +41 (0) 61 465 55 55? Depending on the rate you can cancel or change your booking free of charge. Just contact us again on the same way, we can clarify this for sure.

If you booked directly through our homepage, you can simply click on the confirmation number in your booking confirmation email. Then enter the last name you registered when you made your booking and you will be taken directly to your reservation. Any changes you make here will be confirmed by email.

If you have booked through a third party provider, such as HRS, Expedia or Booking, please contact the agency with which you have booked directly.

Reception

Our reception is generally staffed at the following times:

Mon - Thu: 6.30 - 21.00

Fri - Sat: 6.30 - 19.30

Sun: 7.30 - 17.00 

Please contact us if you arrive outside our reception opening hours. We will be happy to inform you about everything you need to know so that you can check in and move into your room without any problems.

Check-In / Check-Out

Your room will be ready for check-in from 14:00. You plan to arrive earlier? No problem, we will take care of your luggage. 

In order to be able to prepare your room cleanly for the next guest, we kindly ask you to check out until 12.00 noon. Thank you!

Your credit card details are required for arrival after 6 pm, for bookings during trade fairs and for special events, as well as for bookings with discounted rates. 

All major credit cards such as AMEX, VISA, MASTER and DINERS CLUB are accepted. In addition, you can also pay in cash, by EC Maestro, Twint or Reka Checks.

Breakfast

As a guest of the Hotel Baslertor you can have breakfast in the Coop Restaurant next door.

Breakfast is served from Monday to Saturday 6.30 - 10.00 am and on Sunday from 07.30 - 11.00 am. You are still undecided whether you would like to have breakfast? Of course, you can decide spontaneously on the spot. However, you will benefit from discounted inclusive prices when deciding for breakfast directly in the reservation process. Please note that not all products on offer at the Coop Restaurant are included in our breakfast.

Are there parking facilities for private cars and e-charging stations?

If you arrive with by car, private parking is available in the underground parking below the hotel at a price of CHF 15.00 per night. From the parking garage you can easily reach the hotel lobby directly by elevator. Please note the maximum clearance height of 2.40 m.

E-charging stations are available in the underground parking.

Fitness

You can find our fitness on the 2nd floor, and it is available for you daily from 08:00 - 22:00. Our fitness is equipped with the following: a treadmill, three spinning bikes, 

dumbbells, wall bars and yoga mats.

Hotel bar

For your coffee or after-work drink, our hotel bar is available in the lobby. The opening hours depend on the opening hours of the reception.

Business Corner

On the 1st floor of the hotel you find a PC with internet connection and a printer, use is complimentary.

Smoking

Our house is a non-smoking hotel. In front of the hotel you can enjoy your smoke break.

Elevator

You can reach all rooms in the Hotel Baslertor comfortably by elevator.

Mobility ticket, Baselland guest pass & guest tax

Free ride ahead! With the free Mobility Ticket you can use public transport in the Basel region free of charge. In addition, you will receive the Baselland guest pass at check-in, which allows you to benefit from attractive discounts on various leisure activities.

Please note that the guest tax of CHF 3.50 per person and per night charged by the canton of Baselland is not included in the room rate. This will appear separately on your invoice.

How to find us

By car: Take the motorway in the direction of Basel. Approx. 10 km before Basel, take the Pratteln/Augst exit. Turn left on the bridge and drive to the crossroads. Turn right there in the direction of Muttenz. Then drive straight on for about 3 km towards Muttenz until you come to a roundabout. On the other side of the roundabout you will see our hotel.

By train: Muttenz train station. Approx. 10 minutes walk. By bus no. 60 direction Biel-Benken or tram no. 14 direction Pratteln to the stop "Muttenz-Dorf", from there it is about 200 metres to the hotel.

By plane: from the EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse directly with bus no. 50 to the SBB station (journey time approx. 15 min), from the SBB station then continue with the S-Bahn in the direction of Olten or Frick to the "Muttenz-Dorf" stop.
